According to Serra: 'Oriol Comas's reason for being is the game understood as a way of relating to the world and making culture. All his life he has dedicated himself to games. The novel contains many games, two of which Oriol Comas has invented especially for this story. One is called Ego, a way of playing clues made by students on Sant Jordi's day to discover which of the authors who sign books has the most bloated ego. The other is the Game of the Siginero, which serves to lose weight.
