Petits poemes de Joan Brossa

JOAN BROSSA: (Barcelona, 1919 – 1998)

Poet, playwright and plastic artist defined everything he did as "poetry". He is considered the most important Catalan avant-garde poet of the 20th century and a great defender of visual poetry in Catalan literature.

He founded the magazine Dau al Set where he collaborated with surrealist texts. His poetry is characterized by irony, decontextualization and the rejection between word and object. In the final years of his life he focused on the search for everyday magic, social denunciation and transgression.
