3x3 mechanical puzzle
The design of the emblematic 4-petal flower panot is attributed to the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch for its similarity to the tile that he designed with the almond blossom for the entrance to the Casa Amatller on Paseo de Gracia. In 1906, the Barcelona City Council awarded company Escofet from Barcelona the first order for tiles to pave the city with the flower drawing. The most used models are 6: the flower, the four round ones, the chocolate bars of 4 and 9 bars, the concentric circles and the rhombus with 4 circles.
