The volume includes a documentary record and a color photograph of each of the selected tiles, all signed by renowned authors as well as a brief introduction and a biography of the main designers of hydraulic mosaic in catalan Modernism. All texts are in 4 languages (catalan, spanish, french and english).
Jordi Griset Moro (Barcelona 1947) has been designer and builder of models ; co-creator, writer and deputy editor of the journal Om Yoga; designer of Arte y técnica del vestir and manager in a construction company. In 1996, after being captivated by the art of hydraulic mosaic, it was proposed the challenge of thorough study and collect the largest possible number of material related to this heritage to be preserved in a specialized museum. After more than fifteen years of continuous search it has become a self-taught authority in this area.
